Some high potassium foods
Potassium is required for a variety of bodily functions. Potassium is commonly associated with bananas, but many other foods contain just as much — if not more — of this vitamin.
Potassium may be found in abundance in potatoes. Because the skin contains the majority of the potassium in a potato, baked potatoes with the skin on are the best option.
2. Prunes and prune juice
Prunes are plums that have been dried. Many individuals use prunes or prune juice to alleviate constipation because of its high fiber content and other chemical qualities. Prune juice is often made by rehydrating prunes in water, boiling them, and then filtering away the particles.
One cup of canned prune juice has 707 mg of potassium, whereas half a cup of dry prunes has 699 mg.
3. Tomato puree or juice
Fresh tomatoes offer several health benefits. To get more potassium, though, it is best to use concentrated tomato products, such as tomato puree or tomato juice.
4. Milk and yogurt
Dairy products, such as milk and yogurt, are commonly thought of as calcium-rich foods. However, some dairy products might help you get extra potassium in your diet.
